Know before you go.

Add your favourite routes around Perth, and receive live notifications when there are incidents that might affect you!

Right Move Perth has been created by the Department of Transport specifically for Perth commuters to inform you of incidents, events and conditions that might affect trips around our city and metro area.

See incidents as reported by Perth’s Traffic Operations Centre and Transperth, and congestion from Google.

Add your favourite routes to the app, like the bus trip to the office or a car journey to school, and Right Move will inform you of incidents on the way. It’ll even send you Push Notifications if something occurs on your favourite routes so you’re ready before you go.

FEATURES

- Add favourite routes and receive push notifications for incidents that affect them in real time.
- See all of Perth’s incidents and major projects on a map.
- Filter incidents to see:
- only those on your routes,
- anything nearby you,
- general events that affect everyone (like storms or public holidays),
- incidents near your calendar events (if the event has a location),
- and all the major projects improving Perth.
- Add a route by searching for a way to drive, or find which buses and trains to catch.
- Add a custom route by recording your trip as you move.
- Use the app while you’re on the move, and see incidents throughout your journey; driving mode includes audio announcements (iOS 7+), so you can continue to pay attention to the road.

Incident information includes things that can affect your transport around Perth, including roadworks, signal faults, events, breakdowns, crashes, fires, bus and train service disruptions and closures.

Download the free app now, add your favourite routes, and you’ll receive push notifications so you’ll know before you go.

Please note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
